Canon 4K 500 Mbps motion-jpeg video advantages

    I saw a lot of negative comments saying that Canon 4K motion-jpeg is using a lot memory and is a nightmare to work with such big files

    Well, memory will get cheaper, computer will get faster but the source video already recorded stays the same. So if the video recording quality was higher, user may benefit more in longer term.

    Canon 5D4 motion jpeg is recording 4:2:2 video at 500 Mbps

    Its main competitors at similar price range are using newer codec recording video at up to 100 Mbps.

    Yes but for this price I still think it's a good choice .
