Go for SL1 or wait for SL2?

I'm just about to get a refund on a faulty Nikon 3200 after dealing with Nikon UK on 2 failed repairs. I have had enough with their poor service and incompetence so now I'm looking at Canon, specifically the 100d/SL1.

Although it's a bit old tech now, I was hoping to see some news of an SL2 but cant find any concrete information.

The 100d/SL1 18-55mm STM kit is ~£319/$460 here in UK at the moment, is it worth waiting till there's news of the SL2? Or should I just go for the SL1? The 750D 18-55mm kit is tempting but it's a lot more at £529/$764 and that could go towards some better glass for a SL1/SL2.

I don't have any lenses so I'd probably plan on picking up an EF 50mm and 24-120mm at some point down the line.

If you can wait for a while, you can consider waiting for SL2.
But if you can't afford waiting so much, and you need a camera, you can buy SL1. I am curious what improvements will be made at the SL2 and if it deserves the waiting.
