    The Sony has a much larger sensor, so the colour depth and dynamic range should be much better. It also is a 4k video camera although 4k just adds to the cost of editing the video due to the type computer needed to process 4k in real time.

    Since both are video cameras I do not know how Mysterious is substantiating the claim that the Sony is a "photography" camera

    How you spend your money on a video camera is up to you and/or your investors.

    What I did when I was choosing a video camera was visit all the websites of the companies who make professional level video cameras.

    * Panasonic
    * ARRI
    * Sony
    * JVC
    * RedOne
    * Canon

    I looked for the camera models which had the specifications I needed for the scripts we were shooting.

    In the end, the cameras that best fit our needs were in the $25,000 and up range, so we ended up renting all of our gear.

    In the long run this was a better business model since all the rentals were charged off as expenses and we had NO capitol investment in a camera and thus did not have to deal with maintaining it and its accessories.

    If I had to choose between those two cameras, I would pick the Sony since it has the largest sensor, but otherwise, I would be looking at a camera which has three sensors, not just one
