Introducing the SKEYE Nano Drone with Camera
SKEYE Nano Drone with Camera Overview
The SKEYE Nano Drone with built-in camera uses a 6-axis flight control system, so it is easier to fly and control compared with the standard 4-axis drone. Its adjustable gyro sensitivity provides users a stable flight, while its acrobatic capability makes it able to flip through the air with precise control.
Design and Features
The Nano Drone comes with a front-mounted 300,000 pixel camera that offers video-recording capabilities, so you will be able to capture all the moments as it maneuvers and flips through the air. It also has some LED lights, which allow for night flying and add a cooling factor.
This ultra compact drone measures just 1.5 inches from blade to blade and only weighs less than an ounce. Due to its light-weight design, it can perform amazing acrobatics, flipping, tumbling and rolling effortlessly through the sky. Aside from this, it is also equipped with ready-to-fly (RTF) technology that offers 3 flying levels. And with its adjustable gyro sensitivity, it allows for ultimate precision control for any type of user.
Moreover, the box includes a 2.4GHZ, 4-channel controller, 3.7V 120mAh battery, 4 replacement rotor blades, USB charging cable, 2GB MicroSD card and card reader, which means that you can start flying and filming right away! All you need to add are 2 AAA batteries for its controller.
As for charging, its software is optimized to give users 3-4 minutes of flight time on each charge.
Pros and Cons
The SKEYE Nano Drone is ready to fly right out of the box. Just charge it up for up to 30 minutes, and you are good to fly and film its adventures. This gyro is also thrown to fly, where it can literally leap into the air with a toss from your hand and then powered with the intuitive controller. As a nimble, yet stable, quadcopter, it is very easy to use—you will be flying like a pro in no time. And as this drone uses a direct controller, instead of an app, you will be able to fly it with far more precision than the more expensive and larger models.
On the other hand, the notable drawback of this drone is its short battery life. As it is very fun to use (you would want to keep flying it), you could wish that it offers longer flight times, but the weight of a different battery would impact its maneuverability. Another thing is that its camera will struggle a bit with light, making pictures a bit grainier or more difficult to see in bright light. It is also less stable than larger models, so it would be best to avoid windy days.
Final Thoughts
With quality construction, good features and elegant controls, the SKEYE Nano Drone has made its mark in the micro-camera drone market. Considering its capabilities, it is a great drone for novice and intermediate users. It is a good option if you want to give yourself, a family member or a friend the opportunity to do some extreme precision and fun drone flying experience.
