For mobile works, the mic for Panasonic Pro AG-HVX200A is just all right for average stuff. But if you want more professional quality, then you better spend the bucks for what you want. Also, make sure to get P2 cards along with it. Although they are a bit pricey, there are good reasons why they are so. For instance, if you are shooting without interruption for long hours, it is best to have, say, a 64-gig card so you would not have to worry about replacing a card after every two hours. This should give you lots of time to save the video to an external drive or a laptop.

When it comes to battery life, this review is all hats off to this high-definition camcorder. In fact, its battery life has some similarity to the DVX100.
